Transnet Engineering gears up to deliver locomotives and wagons to National Railways of Zimbabwe

On the 14th of February 2018, Transnet Engineering, led by its Chief Officer- Advanced Manufacturing, Thami Jiyane will deliver the first locally built mainline locomotives, wagons and passenger coaches to National Railways of Zimbabwe in a transaction valued at over R2 billion. The ribbon cutting ceremony will be attended by the Zimbabwean President, the Honourable Emmerson Mnagangwa and Minister of Transport, Mr Joram Gumbo.
